Coronavirus Outbreak Forces CIX to Cancel Their U.S. Tour
The spread of the coronavirus is raising concerns worldwide on public events causing some to withdraw. Rookie Korean pop group CIX planned to meet fans (FIX) in New York, Denver, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles during their CIX 1st Fan Meeting HELLO, FIX tour. The fan meet tour set to start Mar. 6 suddenly came to a screeching halt. On Feb. 26, the tour coordinator, SubKulture Entertainment released a statement on their social media announcing that all six stops have been postponed indefinitely. Instead of putting the musician's, fan's and staff's health at risk, the best option is cancelling everything. They give their sincere apologies to everyone involved, especially those who waited patiently to see CIX or have already paid for flights and hotels. All purchased tickets will be fulled refunded according to SubKulture Entertainment.
