VERIVERY Captures Hearts in Fort Wayne

Jellyfish Entertainment and MyMusicTaste teamed up to bring K-Pop boy group VERIVERY on their first ever U.S. tour. This is the first time the seven member group held any performances in The United States since COVID-19 started and both them and fans couldn't hold back their excitement.

On December 17th, VERIVERY visited Fort Wayne, Indiana for their sixth stop of the tour. Their fans (VERRER) eagerly pack into Piere's Entertainment Center after waiting in the cold for the opportunity to see their favorite idols up close.

The group kicks off the concert with "Lay Back" and "Thunder." Both tracks were full of energy and instantly got everyone in the crowd dancing and singing along.

Following the first two songs, Dongheon, Hoyoung, Minchan, Gyehyeon, Yeonho, Yongseung and Kangmin take turns introducing themselves and giving their thoughts. Many of them admitted that they were worried about coming to The United States but their worries washed away because of the energy from fans.

Things slowed down for a moment during "With Us" and "All I Do" when all seven members poured their hearts into each lyric. Everyone in the audience swayed their arms back and forth in sync with the beat.

Amazing dancing returned once the microphone stands were put away. "Beautiful-X" and "Tag Tag Tag" mesmerized those attending with the complex chorography and steady vocals throughout both songs.

The group splits into two for the Q&A session in order to prepare for the upcoming special stages. Gyehyeon, Minchan and Yeonho of the vocal unit take their leave first but not before giving an obvious hint that they'll be singing Miley Cryus' song "The Climb."

Yongseung, Dongheon, Kangmin and Hoyoung of the dance line answered questions for the first half until the three return from backstage and trade places with each other. VERRERs asked the members various questions ranging from what K-Dramas they recommend to what their favorite dinosaurs are. There were also requests to sing or dance to various songs, one of them being the popular children's song "Baby Shark."

The dance line gave their special stage performance first. Their dancing talent shined starting from the first song, "Like This" by MIMS until the end of BTS and Coldplay's song "My Universe" leaving those watching in awe. Immediately following was the vocal line's cover of the popular Hannah Montana Movie soundtrack that they hinted at previously. Every single person in Piere's Entertainment Center sang along with the three vocalists once the chorus started and continued until the end.

Once becoming a whole unit again, they continued with their own discography starting with "Get Away." The fan chants for this song and the following track, "Trigger," were loud and clear the entire time.

Fans prepared a surprise for the group for their final special stage song, "Christmas Lights," by Coldplay. VERRER held up their glowsticks which lit up the crowd beautifully and closely resembled lights on a Christmas tree. Various colors illuminated the venue and VERIVERY were touched by the surprise. Many of the members even asked everyone to hold them up again during the encore.

As a Christmas present, VERIVERY preformed the English version of their debut song "Ring Ring Ring." When they announced the present, the crowd buzzed as they couldn't contain their excitement. The older song got welcomed with open arms and some tried singing along as best as they could.

When the seven members retuned to the stage for the encore, each one wore a black t-shirt with their group's name on it. The colorful paint like splatter that decorated the shirt could be compared to the rainbow ocean fans created prior.

The final three songs, "Paradise," "Super Special" and "Alright" were the perfect opportunity for VERIVERY to interact with the audience. Each member used the moments without choreography as an opportunity to look at every fan in the audience, not missing a single person.

With one last bow, VERIVERY bid Fort Wayne farewell before returning backstage and leaving VERRERs with precious memories that will last a lifetime.
